Tallinn overview
A skyline crowded with red-topped turrets and towering spires. A charming tangle of little cobbled streets. There’s a definite fairytale feel to Tallinn’s old town as its included in UNESCO’s World Heritage List. The city can be easily explored on foot, and this is the best way to absorb the atmosphere, the real magic though, is living the highlife at fabulously low prices in its plentiful pubs and clubs. The string of cafés in Town Hall Square are among the most popular and offer up the liveliest nightlife.
Shopping is good, especially around Christmas when the Town Hall Square is taken over by a
colourful craft and food market.
