Denver serves as the main gateway to Colorado and the fabulous Rocky Mountains, which stretch from Canada all the way down to the deserts of New Mexico. Journey to the town of Estes Park from where you can visit Rocky Mountain National Park, offering over 300 miles of hiking trails through its grand peaks and wondrous valleys.
Colorado’s alpine landscape is famous for its ski resorts such as Aspen and Vail, as well as numerous hot springs, deep canyons and the astounding Native American cliff dwellings at Mesa Verde. Take in Colorado Springs and drive through the ‘Garden of the Gods’, or stay in Durango and take the beautiful train journey to Silverton.
